I was born and raised in Iran and after receiving a degree in Agricultural Science from Tehran University in 1971, migrated and settled in Melbourne. Some years later I entered Monash University and received a post graduate degree in Business Management.
My first skilled job was with Coles/Kmart as an assistant manager which lasted for a little longer than a year, then I purchased a small Retailing/Manufacturing business (soft furnishing) which I sold in early 1985 before moving to Kuranda. After a 14 months of owning/running Kuranda Village Bakery in Kuranda Village Centre complex, I entered into the world of Real Estate. First as a sales representative for Quaid Real Estate in Lake Street Cairns and four years later as an Owner/Operator of Carmel Real Estate in Cairns and Kuranda.
In 1997 for a period of almost 10 years I had the opportunity of working in the same field of Real Estate but outside of Australia which was very enriching and educational. I am very happy that after a short period, I have found myself back into Real Estate business again and doing what I always enjoyed the best in the past.
It is over 30 years that I have lived/worked and associated with Kuranda and its residents. Many people still remember me as their Baker and/or Real Estate Agent.
I am very excited to continue working in the same friendly and familiar environment under the new banner of First National.
